Scrapping...

I had grand plans of doing some posts with photos from our holiday but it just hasn't happened...sorry! Since we've been home Riley's been sick with tonsillitis and I ended up with bronchitis! Sooooo...I've been feeling a bit slack and lacking in motivation lately. Riley's ok and back at school now (and loving it) and I'm ok but just can't shake this awful cough. It's so frustrating! Anyway...enough of that...

I thought I'd share a bit of scrapping instead. This one was for the What's Cooking challenge a couple of weeks ago over at Scrapz.Biz.
Some close-ups...

And this one was my sample for the Scrap It Blind challenge that has been running for the past week...

I love these Girls Paperie papers...they're so girly!

Don't forget the big 'Scrap That Ad' comp starts over at Scrapz.Biz on Sunday (1 August). The prizes are awesome!!!! You'd be crazy not to enter! You can read about it HERE.

Ok...it's getting late so I'm outta here. I'll be back soon with some more shares!

Two little boys in two big bubbles...

On the weekend we took the boys to have a go in the Funballz at the Promenade at our local shopping centre...
Looks like fun huh? Both the boys were SO excited. They'd been nagging us for weeks to have a go. Ayden went out first...
Then it was Riley's turn...

They were both laughing and having a great time. They found it a challenge to actually stand up and spent most of the time rolling around...
Then within a minute or two Riley's face went from happy smiles to this...

Apparently he didn't like the loud echo inside the ball...LOL...we were laughing to ourselves since it was his own noise that was freaking him out! (Really I think it was the fact that he realised he was out on the water on his own...poor little man.) Anyway...they pulled him in pretty quickly and gave us our money back which I thought was really nice.

Ayden on the other hand was having a fantastic time! He would've stayed out there all afternoon if we'd let him...
He was one very happy kid! He's already talking about going again...I don't think Riley will be too keen though! LOL

Catching up...

I realised that since being away on holiday I haven't posted my last few Scrapz.Biz weekly challenges here yet...so here they are!

This was my Scrap it Blind challenge a couple of weeks back. So fun to see how everyone interpreted the instructions for this one!

A couple of closeups...

Then I made these cards for the Noteworthy challenge last week. The challenge I set was to use felt on a card which I thought tied in perfectly with our 'Winter Warmers' theme this month.

For my first card I hand cut the cup, inked it, added the hand cut felt heart and button and hand stitched the steam on top...

Then for my second card I hand cut the felt mittens and added some handstitching and buttons to finish them off...

Now for this week's challenge...What's Cooking! I scrapped photos from our visit to the snow a couple of years back...it was the first time any of the kids had been to the snow and they had SO much fun!

I layered some Prima flowers onto altered chipboard snowflakes and added lots of blanket stitching for texture...

This challenge is still running and you've got until midnight this Wednesday to enter...just go HERE for details. To see what the rest of the Design Team have come up with for this week's challenges just click HERE.

I'm still playing catchup with all the washing, etc and haven't had the chance to go through our holiday pics just yet..but I'll be back soon to share a little! Hope you're having a great week and thanks for stopping by!
