January 2017 Jot Mood Board...

Happy New Year lovely readers!  I hope you all had a beautiful Christmas with your family and friends...and I hope you all have an exciting year ahead!  :D

What better way is there to start the new year than with a new mood board challenge over at Jot?  I was pretty keen to get back into some crafting after all the Christmas/New Year craziness and this mood board is just so gorgeous...

Here's what I came up with...

I took my inspiration from the lovely colour combo against the crisp white backgrounds in the board...

and I added a touch of geometric patterned paper too to reflect the wallpaper in the board too.

October 2016 Jot Mood Board

It's new mood board time over at Jot and this one is delicious!!!

Jot Girl Raquel has put this gorgeous mood board together for us this month.  I'm in love those pretty sorbet colours!!!!

Here's what I came up with for my page...

I took my inspiration from the beautiful colour combination, the yellow stripes and the touch of floral too.

I used a mix of Crate Paper Cute Girl and Maggie Holmes Gather collections for my page...the colours were perfect for this mood board!   The 'Today' stamp is from Elle's Studio, the hearts stamp is from Kikki K and the letter stickers are some older Basic Grey.

Check out the Jot Blog to see the gorgeous pages the other Jot Girls have come up with for this challenge...and while you're there you can read up on how you can join in too!

We can't wait to see what you come up with!  Happy scrapping!

Jot Issue 15 Layout Share...

Hi there!

Today I'm sharing one of the layouts I created for the Sparkle Gallery in the latest issue of Jot.  Who doesn't love a little sparkle?!

I've used a mix of gorgeous Pink Paislee Paige Evans, Crate Paper Maggie Holmes and Shimelle goodies and I love how they all coordinate together on the one page!

This beautiful sparkly word sticker and the glitter frame are just the most gorgeous colour aren't they?

Jot Mood Board Challenge September 2016

Have you seen the September mood board challenge over at Jot?  I love that this one is a little different with it's Aztec designs and lovely colour combo!

I found some gorgeous pink patterned paper that had the perfect design to match this board and then the rest of my page fell into place from there...

This photo of Madison with her finger knitted scarves was perfect for this page and colour combination.  I took my inspiration from the Aztec designs, textures, the colour combo and the little balls of yarn in the board when I was creating my layout.

I even found a little butterfly with Aztec inspired wings...so cute!

See what the other Jot Girls have come up with for this board HERE and you can join in too!

Happy scrapping!

Jot Issue 14 Layout Share

Hi everyone!

I thought I'd share another layout that I created for Issue 14 of Jot Magazine.  This one was so fun to make and took me a little out of my comfort zone which is always a good thing right?

I used a stencil that I bought in a pack at Typo ages ago, grabbed some of my fave paint colours and here's what I came up with...

I used texture paste with my stencil first, then when it was dry I simply painted straight over the top to create this fun look...

I really should reach for my stencils more often!  I have lots in my stash and just don't use them enough.

Oh and while I'm here...there will be a new issue of Jot released on a few days time so make sure you keep an eye out for it!  I can't wait to see it!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
